Delightful Quarantine September 24, 2013

Cast Announced for A Delightful Quarantine
Shonte Daniels

After an extra-terrestrial invasion from strange visitors, several suburban households in Susqua Creek Acres, Pennsylvania, find themselves quarantined within their households with their family members, visitors and unresolved issues. Watch as each household reveals familiar secrets, relationships, and conflicts that rekindle love, fall apart, and warm the heart.

This witty play's large ensemble cast is separated between houses, where we hear different stories from characters within each house. House "A" features the Middlebrooks, starting with Diane Long as Barbara Middlebrook, Emily Kelley as Barbara's daughter, Paula Middlebrook-Clobb, and Juliana Gilger as Paula's twin sister, Kitty Civette. House "B" is home to Judeen Dempsey, played by Barbara Kinney and Chester Benderhorn, played by Alan Elliott. Next in house "C" is Bethany Robbins played by Elinor Marsh and Clark Wigglin played by Evan Marshall. In house "D", Caryn Drenth plays Shirley Wigglin, and Matthew Schnarre plays Roy Robbins. House "E" features Diandra Robbins played by Elayna Moreau and Jennifer Wigglin played by Molly Delaney. In house "F," Adam Biebly plays Dean Stadler and Chelsea Marsh plays Sue Stadler. Christine Gorsline plays Violet Bassey, Candi Putnam plays Mavis Jemco and Keegan Elliott plays Tug Goff in house "G." Last but not least, Lorna Labell plays Professor Lucy Filler, the narrator of the play. Rounding out the entire cast and crew is Producer Christina Woods, Director Charles Burr, Tech Director Dennis Gorsline and Costumier Judy Edsall.

Stories from the six separate houses begin to weave together, sewing a heart-warming contemporary comedy that will leave you thinking about relationships and friendships from new perspectives. "A Delightful Quarantine" will run November 8th-10th, and again on November 15th-17th at the Franke Center of the Arts in Marshall. Show times are at 8:00pm on Fridays and Saturdays and 2:30pm on Sundays. Tickets are $15 for adults, $12 for seniors and $8 for students.
